Movies Galore!!

25 May 2008

My friends asked me to go to Queensbay Mall to watch movies. (it seems like ages ago when I last went there) They said they are going to watch The Chronicles of Narnia so i agreed. I told them that I will be late(piano class) so i ask them to watch it later that day.

I arrived at Queensbay Mall at 5.30 (stuck in the blasted traffic jam), by the time I went there, they are already in the cinemas. OMG!! So I missed this:

Geesh, trusting my friends to keep their word.LOL....

They say that they will watch another movie so I tagged along. We went to Sakae Sushi for dinner. Sitting in that cramp benches makes my ass ache but the good food make up for it. In the end the total amout that we eat is a staggering RM 120.00 (omg thats my whole salary per month).

After enjoying those delicious Japanese food, we proceed to GSC. There were no more movies for us to choose cause Iron Man, Speed Racer are rated above 18. In The end we watch this instead:

It's very good, trusting good old Harrison Ford to give this action packed movie it's 5-star rating.

Harrison Ford is quite old already, seeing him filming Raiders of The Lost Ark, The Temple of Doom, and The Last Crusade so many years ago but he still didn't lose his touch.

Irina Spalko's haircut reminded me of the haircut that PCGHS girls sported.(no offence there).

The Perfect Society

The perfect society is made up of different caste. The lowest caste is the Faultless followed by the Immaculate on top. The Exquisites sit on the second tier. On the pinnacle is the Perfect, a consumate blend of predator and aristocrat.

BIG MAC

"Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun.". say this jingle out in 4 seconds and you are entitled a

Neat.......... but i don't eat beef. why can't a jingle like :" a breaded fish patty, tartar sauce, processed cheese( zheng lik's favourite word variant) on a steamed bun." then I can get this....... lol.

If it's like this, i don't have to spend any money on my dinner on Tuesday night during tution class.

VETO!!!!!!!!!

I Want VETO POWER!!!!!!

A veto gives power, possibly unlimited, to stop changes, but not to adopt them. The influence that the veto conveys to its holder is therefore directly proportional to the holder's conservatism, broadly defined. The more the holder of a veto supports the status quo, the more useful the veto.

How useful will it be. I can veto anything i don't like like the systems in the country, my school's decision, my clubs' decision yada yada...........

But what a shame i can't be trusted with that power for great power comes great responsibility. sorry Uncle Ben for using your famous phrase.

The World Today

It is all over for Malaysia in the Thomas Cup with China winning them 3-2. Lee Chong Wei made an impressive start but Malaysia's effort were futile in the form of Hafiz Hashim. blergh..... (pek chek)

Now lets observe a moments silence for those unamed teachers in Shezuan Province that perished in the quake before they are able to celebrate Teacher's Day. But their sacrifice was great for they save many lives of students.

So "Confidential"

Q: Define the meaning of "confidential" or "sulit" in JPN context.
A: Confidential or sulit means that students get the real answer scripts before the exam and students should copy all of them to get A and to ease the burden of the penyemak.

Q: What is the meaning of examinations?
A: Examinations is where students are asked to copy answer straight from the answer script and sleep for the rest of the period.

Q: What is JPN?
A: Jabatan Pembocoran Negeri.

Those are some question posed by students to JPN. Actually if the situation goes on like this, Malaysia will start going backwards into 2020B.C. and not 2020A.C. . The education system is failing and the standard is falling faster than the cannon balls of Gallileo's experiment of gravity on the Tower of Pisa. tsk.tsk..........

The papers BM and BI were leaked so openly that everyone at school just slept for the most part of the day and singing. The students all were awaked for the better half of the exam while sleeping in the other half. Everyone!!! Listen, this is the education system in Malaysia. Imagine that maybe 5 years later, the exams will be abolish as all students get the real answer scripts so that they need not to waste their inks writing the same answer as everyone else. If this continues, there will be mass unemployment as teachers don't need to teach and mark the papers anymore.

Death

Death is but a crossing to the other side of life's mirror.
Death is but crossing the world as friends cross the seas.
They still live on in the memories of the living,
while the living still resides in their mind, so close but worlds apart.
In this divine glass that seperate both worlds, they still see face to face, converse freely but one differs from the other by different dimensions but still the very same as their yesterdays. Although death is forever a great crossing on a boat sailing on the River Styx, their friendship, in the best sense, ever present, ever provident and immortal.

Random Thoughts by ME.

Why must i write about the topic above I don't know why but i have a feeling, a sense of deja vu that Death has something to do with lieterature that we will be facing on tuesday-English Paper
(hint- form 4 literature-poem and short story last)
